Is it such a crime
to demand bread
from those who
			
steal our wages
			break our bodies
			shatter our spirits

those who put us into starvation
			poverty
			pain

those who force us 
through capitalism 
and deprivation of hope, of joy
into military and prison complexes
or put us in refugee 
and labour camps

those who are paid 
o shoot us to death
in the name of 
white supremacy
and the unholy 
profit margin

unaware that such actions are seeds 
that thrive in the soil of desperation

biding their time to bloom
as revolutions
